Working alongside one of the UK's leading care providers, Harben Green are sourcing a Relief Manager to cover their portfolio of homes across Scotland.

A unique opportunity to oversee the portfolio of nursing & residential homes across the Glasgow, West & Central regions. The successful candidate will lead & support their managers & teams to achieve excellent Care Inspectorate reports throughout & will exude brilliant & positive energy across their region, enabling growth & continual progression.


When the Home Manager is absent or my Client is recruiting you will be;

  • Responsible for the overall management & leadership of the home you are working in.
  • Provide exceptional levels of resident & nursing care, whilst motivating a strong, passionate team to achieve their targets.  
  • Develop great rapport with suppliers, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & audit management - responsible for the financial running of the home to meet company objectives.
  • Mentor the Home Managers within your region to consistently progress within their roles.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • 3+ years management experience within the care sector.
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin or relevant experience within nursing care.
  • Level 4 or above qualification in care management.
  • Proven ability in managing "Good" rated homes or turning around failing homes. 
  • An in-depth knowledge of current Care Inspectorate compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, supporting & motivating your teams to deliver the highest levels of compassionate & personalised care.  
  • Sound financial & business acumen, skilled in running a profitable home.
