Harben Green are working with one of the UK's leading care providers to source a Relief Manager to cover their portfolio of homes across the North East.

A fantastic opportunity to oversee the portfolio of nursing and residential homes across the North East, Cumbria & Wakefield. Already an accomplished home manager, the successful candidate will be passionate to support their Managers & teams to deliver exceptional levels of care & achieve positive CQC reports across the region. 

When a Home Manager is absent or my Client is recruiting you will be;
  • Responsible for the overall management & leadership of the home you're working in.
  • Provide exceptional levels of resident and nursing care, whilst leading a strong, passionate team, motivated to achieve their targets.  
  • Develop great rapport with suppliers, the local community and regulatory bodies. 
  • Budget & audit management - responsible for the financial running of the home inline with company objectives.
  • Ensure each home moves forward to improve and exceed CQC requirements.
  • Mentor the Home Managers within your region to consistently strive for excellence within their homes.

Key skills and knowledge:
  • 3+ years proven management experience within the care sector.
  • Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin or relevant experience within nursing care.
  • A relevant management qualification in care, Level 4 and above.
  • An in-depth knowledge of current CQC compliance regulations.
  • Excellent people management skills, someone who can mentor & motivate their teams to deliver the highest levels of compassionate, personalised care.  
  • Sound financial & business acumen
