We are assisting a specialist care operator to source a Service Manager for a small residential home in Wakefield.

A great chance to join an independent care operator who supports adults with learning disabilities managing their residential care home in Wakefield.  An enthusiastic & experienced manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the home moves forwards & improves their CQC rating.

  • Effectively lead your team to deliver high-quality support through personalised care plans.
  • Ensure strict quality control to improve the homes CQC rating & achieve a “good” rating upon their next inspection.
  • Play an active role in the recruitment & training of new employees.
  • Create long-lasting relationships with local communities, colleagues, resident families & commissioners.
  • Undertake financial responsibility to achieve budget & costs objectives.

Key skills & knowledge:
  • QCF / NVQ Level 5 Health & Social care
  • RMA Level 5 or above
  • Strong working knowledge in supporting adults with learning & physical disabilities.
  • A talented & inspirational leader who can develop & mentor others to consistently achieve excellence.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current CQC regulations & requirements, skilled in delivering process & consistent compliance.
  • Sound commercial skillset - someone who can deliver business efficiency.
